I have always loved historical romance. It was one of the first romance genres I read and continues to be my favorite. But I do not like gay historical romance because they seem so bittersweet to me with the prejudices against gay men. It was much worse than today. In some countries and eras homosexuality was punishable by death. That is why I created the Sci-Regency series. It has always been a labor of love and continues to be my favorite series. I love playing in this world and I plan on many more books in the series.
